You honestly didn't think I was going to let go of this blog did you? It's been a whole year since I last blogged here! How time flies... I also think it's a good time to get back to it too!
Although I've become a Mummy Blogger and blogvery quite often on Call Me Mummy this has and will always be my first blog, so I really can't let go just like that! And let me also say this - if you're reading this, thank you for coming back here to take a look and see what I'm on about it, I really appreciate it...
So what has happened in the past year?
I left my agency side job at Epiphany at the end of 2012 and moved to an In-house SEO team at MoneySuperMarket.com as a Senior Search Executive. It's been quite an eye opening and interesting experience thus far and the journey is far from over!
One of the things that's held me back from blogging about SEO was the fact that I felt I had to be in front of a computer, write how-to-guides, take screenshots, etc and if I'm honest, most times it's put me off writing, so instead I'd just move over to my mummy blog and write a post, throw a few pictures and there, I'm done! So I've promised myself that I don't always have to do guides - that said, I will be updating a few how-to-guides which I've blogged about previously, but overall, I don't always have to be in front of a computer, I can use a tablet/phone and knock up a blog post, easy.
In the upcoming weeks and months I'm going to be challenging myself to update this blog regularly! I'm talking a blog post a week or at least 4 posts a month, very do-able I know, but I want to start out slow and steady too. I'm be talking about working in-house compared to agency side, something I'd always wondered about before I took this job so hopefully, my talking about it will help someone else out there...
